Job summary

Babcock invites graduates to join a two-year Naval Architecture Graduate Programme in Bristol. You will rotate through placements across hydrodynamics, structures, design and safety, learning from leading engineers and working on submarines, surface ships and marine infrastructure projects.

You’ll receive structured training, mentorship, and support toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, with a clear path to a permanent role in engineering after completion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in naval-related engineering is required or on track to completion.
• BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance are required.
• Placement eligibility is limited to UK nationals for this programme.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to naval architecture projects across hydrodynamics, structures, stability and safety.
• Assist in design and assessment of submarines and surface ships.
• Learn from senior naval architects and engineers and develop professional registration pathways.
