As the National Sales Manager for Radiology Solutions, you will lead and drive the sales strategy for Agfa Radiology Solutions across the United Kingdom and Ireland. Your role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, achieving sales targets, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for guiding a dynamic team to deliver exceptional results and contribute to the growth of our Radiology Solutions portfolio.

The accounts entail also competitive and innovating/new products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development - Formulate and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market growth for the UK & Ireland.
  • Team Leadership - Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of 6 direct reports and 3 application specialists to ensure high performance and professional development.
  • Market Analysis - Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Customer Engagement - Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals and other key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Performance Monitoring - Regularly review sales performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes.
  • Collaboration - Work closely with internal stakeholders, including the service and applications specialist functions, to align sales efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Budget Management - Oversee the sales budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.
  • Reporting -Provide regular reports and updates to the Sales Director Europe North on sales activities, progress, and challenges.

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of NHS hospitals, including their operations and procurement processes for large capital modalities.
  • Strong understanding of the NHS procurement process and proven ability to influence and interact with NHS Supply Chain.
  • Experience working with Private Hospital groups as an additional market.
  • Direct responsibility for managing Agfa Radiology Solutions UK & I partners/distributors.
  • Some knowledge of Channel Management is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to coach and develop talent.
  • Committed to actively supporting and mentoring the team in the field.
