A leading company in cloud services is seeking an Edge Sales Specialist to drive the adoption of AWS Edge Services in the UK and Ireland's SMB and Start-Up markets. DESCRIPTION
Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing the adoption of Edge Services, Amazon Web Services' CDN, Media and Security offerings in the exciting SMB and Start-Up market segments? Do you have the business acumen and technical background to further establish Amazon as a key CDN, Media and Security provider?
As a sales specialist for CloudFront, Elemental Media Services, Shield and WAF you will have the exciting opportunity to promote the growth and shape the future of leading technologies. Your responsibility will be to increase AWS Edge market penetration in the UK and Ireland's SMB and Start-up segments. You will focus on both large accounts and opportunities, whilst establishing repeatable models that scale.
The ideal candidate will possess both a business and technical background, enabling them to engage accounts at a range of levels including CXO, software developers and IT architects. He/she should be a self-starter, who's prepared to develop and execute sales plans for the UK and Ireland Edge business.
Key job responsibilities
- Define and implement the AWS Edge territory sales plan for SMB/Start-up in the UK and Ireland
- Drive revenue growth and meet sales targets
- Create and articulate compelling value propositions around the use of CloudFront, - Elemental Media Services and Perimeter Security
- Identify the largest opportunities in your territory and create winning account plans
- Help drive customer adoption
- Work with partners to extend reach and promote adoption
- Contribute to a positive customer experience

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience selling Edge products or services
- Experience selling to large, complex accounts
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Successful track record in sales
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- BA/BSc degree desired
- Self motivated, with an innate drive to be successful
- A desire to constantly learn and improve
