Job summary

Marsh Risk is seeking a Renewables National Practice Leader for our Corporate and Commercial Business. This role will lead the development of our Renewables Practice within the C&C client segment, focusing on supporting current clients with excellent client service delivery, along with growing our new client portfolio across the UK.

The successful candidate will ideally be based in London or Bristol offices, on a hybrid basis, with a requirement to work 3 days per week in the office.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in the Power and Energy / Renewables insurance market.
• Natural leadership abilities with impeccable communication and clarity.
• Strong technical competency with client and prospect engagement.
• Ability to create effective relationships and drive a growth-oriented journey.
• Detail-oriented, strategic thinker with analytical problem-solving.
• Highly organized with ability to create structure, presentations and workflows.
• Ability to drive change and manage change effectively.

Responsibilities

• Build, develop and maintain relationships with renewables clients, prospects, insurers and industry stakeholders across the UK.
• Deliver excellent client outcomes underpinned by industry insights to support retention and growth of current client portfolio.
• Lead expansion of regional hubs and specialisms across the UK.
• Be a profile leader of the Renewables Practice for C&C with clients and stakeholders.
• Lead by example, upholding high standards for quality, compliance and ethics.
• Mentor and coach renewables-focused colleagues to maintain a high-performing team.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute the C&C Renewables growth strategy and budgets.
• Forecast, measure and analyze practice performance data to identify trends and improve client delivery.
• Support practice development initiatives including strategic prospecting and thought leadership.
• Partner with P&L stakeholders to implement growth plans and maximize sales capacity.
