Job summary

Marsh Re in London is seeking a resourceful candidate to join the Facultative Broking team, focusing on energy facultative reinsurance with upstream and renewable energy risks. The role involves structuring, negotiating and placing tailored facultative solutions for clients, supported by a collaborative market-leading team.

You will work closely with clients and London Market reinsurers to translate risk information into effective market submissions, negotiate terms, and manage the lifecycle

Qualifications

• Proven experience in energy insurance/reinsurance.
• Background as an energy-focused broker or energy broking team.
• Experience delivering facultative placements lifecycle with market engagement.
• Strong client relationships and market communication skills.
• ACII qualified or working toward ACII.

Responsibilities

• Broker energy facultative placements end-to-end.
• Engage clients and reinsurers to structure submissions.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and coverage with London Market reinsurers.
• Produce submissions, quotes and cover notes accurately.
• Manage placement lifecycle through binding and post-bind activity.
