Marsh Re in London is seeking a resourceful broker/underwriter support professional to join our energy facultative broking team. Focus on upstream and renewables with exposure to London Market placing and reinsurers.

You will structure, negotiate and place tailored facultative solutions, collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders to meet risk transfer objectives and drive positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in energy insurance/reinsurance (upstream/renewables) via broking, underwriting or placement support.
• Background as energy-focused broker with London Market exposure and underwriter/reinsurer interaction.
• Ability to support facultative placements from risk info through to quote/bind.
• Strong relationship-building with clients and market participants in a fast-paced enviroment.
• Excellent documentation discipline and attention to detail across submissions.

Responsibilities

• Broker energy facultative placements end-to-end, supporting strategy, market engagement and execution.
• Engage with clients and internal stakeholders to understand risk and placement objectives; translate into submissions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with London Market reinsurers; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare and manage placement documents (submissions, quotes, market presentations, cover notes, contracts).
• Manage lifecycle through binding and post-bind activity; ensure timely flow of materials.
