Job summary

United Rentals is seeking an Outside Sales Representative - Power Working (National) to drive growth across the UK. You will identify new opportunities, manage the full sales cycle, and build strong relationships with existing and new accounts.

You will pitch our power solutions—generators, batteries, and related equipment—across a national territory, travel widely, and collaborate with Inside Sales and Operations to convert opportunities into orders while exceeding revenue goals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of power products (generators, batteries and support equipment).
• Experience in technical field sales within industrial markets.
• Ability to prospect and close new business.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for accounts within the territory and manage full opportunity lifecycle.
• Understand customer needs and identify opportunities to upsell/cross-sell.
• Create quotes and handover job packages to operations (IOF).
• Coordinate after-sales support with back office (AR aging).
• Develop and execute a sales territory plan and strategy.
• Visit client offices to present United Rentals’ solutions and equipment.
• Collaborate with Inside Sales to drive revenue growth.
