Field Sales Operations Manager National

Background: FMCG Convenience / RETAIL PHARMACY / FIELD SALES / RETAIL STORES MERCHANDISING

Territory: National Reference: KSP/COMB

We are looking for a dynamic and driven Field Operations Manager (National). The role primarily focuses on managing a team in the field, driving sales, continuously improving field standards, and ensuring compliance with company operating procedures.

This multifaceted role requires the individual to liaise, report, and support the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead, motivate, and develop the team to deliver excellent store standards and customer service.
  2. Ensure compliance and best practices are adhered to at the highest standards.
  3. Audit the field team regularly.
  4. Conduct field visits as per company expectations.
  5. Provide constructive feedback, address poor practices, and recognize successes.
  6. Support coaching, training, and onboarding of new starters.
  7. Build relationships with the field team and customers.
  8. Drive sales through the field teams.
  9. Manage time effectively.
  10. Complete and submit reports timely.
  11. Maintain excellent communication skills.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong personal integrity with sound judgment and influencing skills.
  • Willingness to travel nationally, spending approximately 4 days a week in the field.
  • Proven experience managing field sales teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter capable of managing workload with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with collaborative skills.
  • Robust, determined, and willing to go the extra mile.
  • Ability to handle conflict confidently.
  • Professional personal presentation.
  • Fluent in English; bilingual skills advantageous.
  • Education up to GCSE level.
  • Experience or knowledge of visiting retail outlets with field sales teams.
  • Proficient in IT systems including Word, Excel, and Email.
  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
Remuneration:
  • Competitive annual salary.
  • End-of-year bonus.
  • OTE £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
  • Vehicle allowance.
