Job summary

Continuum Recruitment Group is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead its national sales team across three UK locations. The role reports to the Group Commercial Director and will drive account development, new business growth, and commercial negotiations with key customers, including highways contractors and local authorities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sales teams, ideally including management of other sales managers.
• Strong background in existing account development and new business generation.
• Commercial experience selling into highways contractors, local authorities, infrastructure providers or related markets.
• Good understanding of pricing, profitability and margin management.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on sales leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of nine across three UK locations, including existing sales managers.
• Drive account development across an established customer base, increasing revenue, product penetration and long-term customer value.
• Establish a more proactive new business culture, identifying and converting opportunities across existing and new markets.
• Set clear sales objectives, monitor performance and create accountability across the team.
• Take an active role in key customer relationships, commercial negotiations and significant opportunities.
• Work closely with the Commercial Director on sales strategy, pricing, margin performance and growth priorities.
• Build stronger collaboration between sales, manufacturing and operations to ensure commercial opportunities are delivered effectively.
