Job summary

Lord Search & Selection is seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager in Manchester, operating hybrid with travel to head office. You will identify new opportunities, build relationships with major contractors and clients, and convert opportunities into profitable contracts across the UK.

You will report to senior leadership and own the national territory, with autonomy to shape your approach and grow the commercial footprint for a growing specialist contractor in Passive Fire Protection

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record in winning project-based work within construction or specialist contracting.
• Experience with Tier 1 contractors, principal contractors or public sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify target markets and customers, build relationships with key decision-makers, and develop opportunities from engagement to contract award.
• Collaborate with operations to ensure opportunities are viable and can be delivered, and nurture existing relationships for repeat business.
• Develop and execute a national business development strategy with autonomy and support from an established team.
