This position reports to

Sales Manager R&A

Your role and responsibilities

Develop, implement, and manage the account strategy focused on share of wallet growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Coordinate sales activities, monitor current projects, and manage resolution of customer issues. This role is part of ABB's Industry sales strategy to enhance market penetration and growth in the UK & Ireland, primarily home-based.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Selling products/solutions/services to meet volume, mix, and profitability targets, focusing on end users and developing new and existing customers.
  • Negotiating specifications and pricing with customers, maintaining margins, and preparing quotes supported by CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Developing sales strategies based on current and long-term customer plans.
  • Setting and achieving sales targets with structured follow-up.
  • Understanding customer needs and communicating ABB's solutions effectively.
  • Monitoring client financial status and managing risks related to contracts and pricing.
  • Working towards personal, team, and behavioral targets aligned with ABB's 4Cs: Collaboration, Curiosity, Courage, and Care.
  • Maintaining high engagement levels with customers and partners through the ABB QCE program.
  • Ensuring integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
Qualifications for the role
