Are you passionate about breaking down barriers to support people to live a more independent and fulfilling life?

We are currently looking for a highly motivated person to join our Supported Accommodation Service.Whether you are looking for a rewarding role leading others and enabling vulnerable care leavers and young people to achieve their potential or an opportunity to gain skills and experience in the health and social care sector, becoming a Senior Support Worker could be the perfect position for you.

You will be able to demonstrate being proactive and innovative in your approach to care and a willingness to adapt and change as we develop to meet new opportunities.

  • Someone who is proactive and creative, and prepared to think beyond the obvious to meet the needs of the young people they're supporting in an enjoyable and meaningful way, as well as supporting our Skills Coaches to deliver an amazing service.
  • Someone who is flexible and adaptable, to continually develop and improve the Skills Coaches activities and sessions to meet the needs of the young people they're supporting, taking on board the views of the young people, with the ability to adapt very quickly to the young person's changing needs.
  • Someone who can build an honest, trusting and engaging relationship with the young person/people they're supporting as this is essential for the young person to get the most benefit from their sessions.
  • Someone who is committed to personal development, both for their personal benefit and to benefit the young people they're supporting.

These qualities are more important than previous experience, although it's very welcome, as full support and training will be provided to enable you to gain that experience
