Bridge College, part of the Together Trust, is seeking a creative Music and Performance Facilitator to work in Openshaw, Manchester. You will develop and deliver music, drama and performing arts sessions for learners aged 16-25 with disabilities and complex needs, helping them gain confidence and practical skills.
Working with the Lead Tutor, you will expand Bridge College's performing arts offer, coordinate shows, and create work-based learning opportunities; some evening or out-of-hours work

Location: Openshaw, Manchester
Salary: £29,803.05 pro rated (£30,912 FTE)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 43 weeks per year

Bridge College promotes a multidisciplinary approach to learning and has expertise in supporting students with a wide range of needs, we are looking for an enthusiastic and creative Music and Performance Facilitator to join the team at Bridge College in Openshaw, Manchester.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for performing arts who wants to use their skills to make a real difference to young people with learning disabilities and autism.
You will play a key role in developing and delivering our music, drama and performing arts offer, creating engaging opportunities for students to build their confidence, develop practical skills and experience the world of work.
From music sessions and drama workshops to performances, showcases and community projects, you will help students explore their creativity and develop skills that can support their future aspirations.

We are looking for someone who is creative, enthusiastic and passionate about using music and drama to engage young people.
You will ideally have:
Experience or knowledge of Makaton, sign language, TEACCH, Intensive Interaction or other approaches used to support autistic learners would be advantageous.
