Job summary

Museum of the Home in London is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to ensure the museum site is clean, safe, maintained, secure and compliant.

You will manage contracts with maintenance, cleaning and security providers, lead on emergency response, and oversee capital developments and strategic maintenance. Some evening and weekend work is required; a DBS check will be carried out.

Qualifications

• Experience managing contracts and providing both reactive and proactive facility management in a museum or heritage environment.
• Ability to negotiate and manage contracts for services.
• Experience leading on emergency response and incident management.
• Knowledge of health and safety in a busy museum environment.
• Experience overseeing capital developments and strategic maintenance.
