Job summary

Museum of the Home in Hoxton is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee contracts, facilities, and safety in a busy museum environment.

You will lead on emergency response, capital developments, and manage budgets, policies, and supplier relationships to ensure smooth operations and visitor safety.

You’ll have experience managing contracts and providing both reactive and proactive facility management in a museum or heritage environment.

The closing date for applications is 5pm on Monday 26 October 2026. Interviews will take place at the Museum on Friday 6 November. As part of the interview, candidates will be asked to deliver a 5-minute presentation around the theme of managing a project; further details will be given beforehand.
