Job summary

Construction Resources is recruiting for a Multitrader to cover the Maidstone to Sittingbourne area. You will undertake reactive repairs and maintenance across residential properties to keep homes safe and well maintained.

The role requires strong multi-trade experience with competence in carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general building repairs. Experience in tenanted properties and using PDA/work systems is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience across maintenance disciplines including carpentry, plumbing and plastering.
• Experience working in tenanted properties is preferred.
• Able to use PDA/mobile work management systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of property repairs and maintenance works to a high standard.
• Undertake carpentry repairs and basic joinery works.
• Complete minor plumbing repairs and installations.
• Carry out patch plastering, tiling and decorating repairs where required.
• Support with general property maintenance duties.
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective repairs.
• Work well both independently and in a team.

We are recruiting on behalf of an established property services contractor delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishments and voids services across the housing sector.

Our client is looking for several experienced and versatile Multi Traders to join their team, covering the Maidstone to Sittingbourne area.

The role involves carrying out reactive repairs and maintenance across residential properties, helping to ensure homes are safe, comfortable and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of property repairs and maintenance works to a high standard.

• Undertake carpentry repairs and basic joinery works.

• Complete minor plumbing repairs and installations.

• Carry out patch plastering, tiling and decorating repairs where required.

• Support with general property maintenance duties.

• Diagnose faults and deliver effective repairs.

• Work effectively both independently and within a team.

• Ensure all works meet Health & Safety, quality and customer service standards.

About You

• Strong multi-trade experience across a range of maintenance disciplines.

• Competent in carpentry, plumbing, patch plastering and general building repairs.

• Good problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.

• Experience working in tenanted properties.

• Familiar with PDA/mobile work management systems.

• Additional trade qualifications are advantageous.

• Professional and customer-focused approach.

Requirements

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 minimum in a relevant trade.

• Clean, valid UK Driving Licence.

• DBS check, or willingness to undertake one.

• Eligible to work in the UK with proof of eligibility required.
