Job summary

Cardo Group in Cardiff is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Person to join our property maintenance team. You will perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance across residential and commercial properties, delivering quality workmanship and solving problems on the spot.

You must be able to work independently, manage time effectively and maintain records of tasks, materials and client interactions. CSCS preferred and a valid driving licence are desirable.

Qualifications

• Broad range of trades experience across plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance.
• Ability to perform repairs and installations in residential and commercial properties.
• Strong problem-solving, time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes and systems.
• Carry out carpentry tasks including 1st and 2nd fix work.
• Perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC and carpentry areas.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks, materials and interactions.

Overall purpose of the role

We are looking for a skilled Multi-Trade Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of skills across various trades, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance. This role involves performing a variety of tasks to ensure the upkeep and functionality of residential and commercial properties. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship are essential.

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures, pipes, and systems.
• A good understanding of all 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
• Perform repairs and installations in various areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
• Proven experience in maintenance tasks.
• Ability to perform various trades such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Respond to maintenance requests from clients promptly and efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance tasks performed, including time, materials, and client interactions.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
