Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Multi Skilled Carpenter to join our client’s repairs and maintenance team in South Birmingham. The role involves working in occupied domestic properties performing day-to-day upgrades and general maintenance.

The successful candidate will have an NVQ/City & Guilds L2 in a relevant trade, experience in social housing or domestic repairs, strong communication skills, and a full UK driving licence. A long-term opportunity with temp-to-perm potential awaits.

Qualifications

• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 in relevant trade required.
• Experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Ability to perform basic secondary trades (e.g., tiling).

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs in domestic/social housing settings across Carpentry, Plumbing, and Plastering.
• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties.
• Conduct secondary trades to a competent standard.
• Maintain excellent customer service during visits.

About the Role:
Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experiencedMulti Skilled Operativesto join our client's repairs &maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within occupied domestic properties, carrying out day-to-day upgrades and general maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out a variety of repairs in domestic/social housing settings, Carpentry / Plumbing / Plastering main trade.
• Deliver high-quality maintenance in occupied properties
• Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., basic plumbing, tiling, etc.)
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits

Requirements:

• NVQ or City & Guilds L2 in any relevant trade
• Previous experience in social housing, council, or domestic property repairs
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to perform basic secondary trades
