Thames Water is seeking a Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join the team at Kempton Park WTW. You will inspect, maintain, fault-diagnose, test, install, modify or repair mechanical and electrical plant with minimal supervision, ensuring site operations and environmental targets are met.

Applicants should have an electrical apprenticeship and related NVQ/HNC qualifications, with upskilling to mechanical NVQ2/3 as advantageous.

Formación

• You should be a time-served apprentice with significant electrical experience.
• Upskilling to dual-skilled status in mechanical disciplines is valued.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements is essential.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Investigate plant failures and perform rapid repairs to minimise downtime.
• Provide technical advice and training to trainees when required.
• Work on pumps, control gear, motors, VSDs, valves, and instrumentation.
• Participate in standby rota and training as needed.
