Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a site in Bridgwater, Somerset. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site and involves being part of on-site and out-of-hours emergency response teams.

You will maintain and improve preventive maintenance programmes and asset management systems, support engineering projects through planning, and liaise with external contractors to ensure up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical maintenance and fault-finding capability.
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic drawings and schematics.
• Experience using CMMS and Asset management.
• Higher technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing/production environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site.
• Serve as a member of both on-site and out-of-hours emergency response teams.
• Maintain and improve preventive maintenance programmes and asset management systems.
• Support engineering projects through planning.
• Assist with the management, liaising with external contactors and ensuring all up to date documentation.
