Job summary

Job Shop Recruitment are partnering with a global access solutions leader to recruit a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer for a site on the outskirts of Newton Abbot (Heathfield). The role covers planned maintenance, repairs and improvements to support manufacturing operations.

You will assist with breakdowns (electrical & mechanical), maintain CMMS records, and help improve processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering apprenticeship completed or equivalent.
• OHC/HNC Level Qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• City & Guilds #removed#th Edition Electrical Regulations knowledge.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self awareness, problem solving and organisational abilities.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Smart, polite, and professional appearance.
• Safety conscious with a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support office and factory facilities through planned maintenance, repairs, and projects.
• Assist with maintenance records and CMMS entries.
• Provide routine maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown support to production.
• Contribute to improvements of manufacturing processes and facilities.
• Undertake routine facilities maintenance around the factory.
• Provide manufacturing support using machine tools.
• Observe quality, environmental and health & safety standards.
