Job summary

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role in Southall, London, offering a 4 on 4 off days pattern and a £50,000 salary with a bonus. The position is with a leading manufacturer near Southall, providing long-term stability, modern equipment, and clear career progression.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on automated machinery (flow wrappers, weighers, tray sealers, cartoners), ensuring continuous operation and achievement of production targets. £50,000 + bonus + benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, packaging or automated production environments.
• Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Proactive approach with a positive attitude towards continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Electrical and mechanical fault finding on automated production equipment.
• Planned preventative maintenance activities.
• Reactive breakdown repairs to maintain output.
• Continuous improvement to drive reliability and efficiency.
• Support production performance and machine reliability.
• Maintain health and safety standards across the site.
