Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to effectively manage and maintain building systems across BT Workplace facilities. You will contribute to safety, compliance and operational efficiency across 7,000 buildings in the UK.

The role covers calibration of test equipment, PPE checks, risk assessments, CMMS data updates via mobile tools, liaison with Helpdesk, and support of site health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Technical training (NVQ3 or equivalent) in more than one discipline (AC, Plumbing, Mechanical, Gas, etc.).
• City and Guilds Level 3 technical certificate in an electrical discipline.
• City and Guilds 2382 Level 3 certificate BS 7671 or equivalent.
• Previous experience in facilities management.
• Organised, able to prioritise and deliver within high pressure, business critical environments.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with tactical delivery for client satisfaction.
• High degree of knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure test equipment is calibrated and maintained to current regulations.
• Maintain PPE in good condition and use as required.
• Familiar with safety regulations for systems such as pressure, water and gas.
• Undertake dynamic risk assessments prior to work tasks.
• Carry out daily building walks to report and rectify faults within SLA.
• Diagnose and fix a variety of building maintenance issues.
• Record work activities accurately and update CMMS via mobile tool.
• Promote CBRE core values and liaise with Helpdesk for timely responses.
• Support BT Customer and ensure site health & safety compliance.
