Job summary

CBRE Local UK is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical maintenance on plant, equipment and building services within a facilities environment near Manchester. The role emphasizes safe operation and proactive maintenance.

You will identify risks, carry out fault finding on three-phase systems, support site services, and ensure documentation and risk assessments are up to date. Overnight or weekend overtime may be required.

Qualifications

Recognised apprenticeship or time-served engineering experience.
NVQ Level 2 in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
City & Guilds 17th Edition electrical qualifications.
City & Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 electrical qualifications.

Responsibilities

Identify and manage risks to the client through equipment on site and update drawings.
Fault finding on all types of machinery and systems.
Support Health and Safety in the department and write risk assessments.
Complete required documentation per regulations and legislation.
Work on three-phase systems up to 440V, motors and drives.
Liaise with Site Services to manage building services issues.
Be the responsible person in absence and deputise the Shift Leader.
Overtime including nights and weekends may be required.
Perform ad hoc duties as required.
