Job summary

Tech-People are currently seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a static site at Howdens in Raunds (NN9). The role covers reactive and preventative maintenance across a commercial facility.

The successful candidate will have a recognised electrical qualification, strong M&E skills, fault-finding ability, and the capacity to work independently on a fixed site. Umbrella PAYE or standard PAYE payment options apply.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Raunds (NN9)

Tech-People are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer for a static commercial site at Howdens in Raunds.

Raunds, NN9

Start: 28/09/2026

£26.29 per hour Umbrella PAYE / £20.19 per hour PAYE

45 hours per week

8:00am-5:00pm

Static commercial site

The role will involve carrying out both reactive and planned preventative maintenance across the site, ensuring work is completed safely and within required SLA timescales.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance
• Electrical maintenance and fault finding
• General M&E and fabric maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests
• Identify and report defects and potential issues
• Complete maintenance records and paperwork
• Work to statutory compliance and health & safety requirements
• Ensure jobs are completed within agreed SLA timescales

Requirements

• Recognised electrical qualification is essential
• Good all-round M&E / fabric maintenance experience
• Previous commercial building maintenance experience
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently in a static environment
• Strong Health & Safety awareness
• Must be able to work via Umbrella PAYE - no CIS/Ltd Company payments.
