Job summary

Tech People are currently looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a static commercial site at Howdens in Raunds, NN9. The role involves reactive and preventative maintenance on a 45-hour week from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with umbrella PAYE at 26.29 per hour or PAYE at 20.19 per hour.

You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance, electrical fault finding, general M&E and fabric maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and SLA requirements on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• Recognised electrical qualification is essential.
• Good all-round M&E / fabric maintenance experience.
• Previous commercial building maintenance experience.
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a static environment.
• Strong Health & Safety awareness.
• Must be able to work via Umbrella PAYE - no CIS/Ltd Company payments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance
• Electrical maintenance and fault finding
• General M&E and fabric maintenance
• Respond to breakdowns and maintenance requests
• Identify and report defects and potential issues
• Complete maintenance records and paperwork
• Work to statutory compliance and health & safety requirements
• Ensure jobs are completed within agreed SLA timescales
