Cotteswold Dairy Ltd. in Tewkesbury seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our engineering team on rotating shifts. You will respond to breakdowns, diagnose faults, and perform reactive and preventive maintenance on high-speed production equipment in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

The role offers £20.59 per hour with overtime, plus a weekly on-call retainer of £100 and a £50 per call-out. Benefits include 30 days holiday and a company pension.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) – Tewkesbury

Electrical-heavy FMCG engineering role | Rotating shifts | £20.59 per hour + overtime

Established in 1938, Cotteswold Dairy is one of the UK’s leading independent family-owned dairies. We are seeking a skilled Multi-Skilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our Engineering Team at our Tewkesbury site.

£20.59 per hour

Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours

30 days holiday + company pension

Shift Pattern – Rotating (2 Week Rota)

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 0600 – 1345 and Saturday, 0600 – finish

Week 2: Monday to Friday, 1345 – 2145

• Participate in equipment breakdown call-out rota
• Call out rota is roughly one week in six.

Retainer of £100.00 for the week on call.

£50.00 one-off payment per call out.

Hourly rate once clocked in.

The Role

What We’re Looking For

• Electrical bias (minimum 70/30 electrical to mechanical split)
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on high-speed / automated machinery
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Experience within an FMCG or fast-paced production environment

Qualifications (one of the following or equivalent experience):

• HNC/HND/HNCD Level 4/5 in Engineering (Electrical preferred)
• City & Guilds Level 4/5 Electrical Engineering
• Equivalent job-based engineering experience
