Job summary

Müller UK & Ireland is looking for an Engineering Technician to join our Severnside Dairy. You’ll diagnose faults, perform root-cause analysis and implement improvements to boost equipment reliability and efficiency.

The role supports processing, filling and packaging equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently, with opportunities across Dairy and Blow Moulding. The position offers a permanent 4 on, 4 off shift pattern (2 days / 2 nights), 276 hours annual leave, a 5% annual bonus,

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship.
• HNC Electrical preferred.
• Strong electrical capability with sound mechanical skills.
• Maintenance experience within a manufacturing / FMCG environment.
• Automation and CI tools experience advantageous.
• IOSHH / NEBOSH desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting a range of processing, filling and packaging equipment within the Dairy operation to keep production running safely and reliably.
• Responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance and identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and improve equipment performance.

Are you an experienced multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias, looking for a role where you can make an impact beyond simply keeping the equipment running?

We're currently growing our engineering team at our Severnside Dairy and are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our Dairydepartment.

You'll have the opportunity to use your mechanical and electrical skills to diagnose faults, solve recurring problems, carry out root cause analysis and identify improvements that increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
