Job summary

Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Severnside Dairy team and support both Dairy and Blow Moulding operations. You will diagnose faults, perform root-cause analysis, and implement improvements to boost equipment reliability and efficiency.

The role offers a permanent 4 on, 4 off shift (2 days / 2 nights, 7–7), with generous annual leave and a 5% bonus, plus a comprehensive pension, life assurance, Müller Rewards and structured career development

Qualifications

• Completed an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• HNC Electrical preferred (or Mechanical with strong electrical competence).
• Strong electrical capability with sound mechanical skills.
• Maintenance experience in manufacturing / FMCG environment.
• Automation and CI tools experience advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work with a wide variety of production and manufacturing equipment across Dairy and Blow Moulding.
• Diagnose faults and perform fault-finding and root-cause analysis.
• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance to improve reliability and performance.
• Investigate root causes rather than just fixing issues.

Are you an experienced multi-skilled engineer looking for a role where you can do more than simply keep the equipment running?

We’re currently growing our engineering team at our Severnside Dairy and are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our Blow Moulding & Dairy departments

You’ll have the opportunity to use your mechanical and electrical skills to diagnose faults, solve recurring problems, carry out root cause analysis and identify improvements that increase equipment reliability and efficiency.

It’s a permanent 4 on, 4 off shift pattern, 2 days / 2 nights (7–7), with 276 hours' annual leave, a 5% annual bonus, pension, life assurance, Müller Rewards and defined career development pathways.

The Role

Depending on the team, you could be supporting processing, filling and packaging equipment within Dairy, or high-speed bottle manufacturing and moulding lines within Blow Moulding.

You’ll play a key role in keeping our operations running safely and effectively, responding to breakdowns, completing planned maintenance and identifying opportunities to reduce downtime and improve performance.

What We’re Looking For
