Job summary

Avison Young is seeking a Facilities Management professional to support multi-site properties in the UK. The role focuses on service charge budgeting, contractor management, and occupant engagement to ensure compliant and efficient building operations.

You will work with the Management Surveyor on budgets, safety compliance, energy management, and reporting, while contributing to a collaborative, inclusive work environment across Avison Young.

Qualifications

• Experience in Property and Facilities Management within a multi-site FM environment.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills for a client-facing role.
• Experience managing utilities and energy consumption.
• IOSH Managing Safely certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong IT skills and proficiency with facility management systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure services for full and effective operation of properties in line with leases and as directed by the Management Surveyor.
• Prepare and monitor service charge budgets with the Management Surveyor.
• Engage with occupiers and maintain tenant contacts, key holders and fire safety lists.
• Deliver excellent customer service to occupiers and clients.
• Record actions in REFIM software and inspect buildings per responsibilities.
• Manage fault reporting and Servicedesk interactions daily.
• Monitor contractor SLA/KPI results and provide feedback to FM leads.
• Assist with insurance claims in coordination with the Management Surveyor.
• Attend client meetings and support reporting for Management Surveyors.
• Monitor energy and water use and promote sustainable operations.
