White Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Multimodal Freight Forwarder for our Dover office. You will manage end-to-end shipments across air, road and sea/ocean, taking full ownership from booking to final delivery.

The role offers a salary up to £40,000 DOE plus benefits, with regular hours and the opportunity to join a growing, multi-site logistics business.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in multimodal freight forwarding.
• Solid knowledge of UK import and export procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confident communication and commercial awareness.
• Experience with CargoWise or similar freight management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage import and export shipments across air, road and sea/ocean.
• Handle freight and customs documentation.
• Liaise with hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, ports and overseas agents.
• Provide quotations and manage shipment costs.
• Collaborate with colleagues across UK sites to ensure service.

The Role

I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established and expanding freight forwarding company seeking an experienced Multimodal Freight Forwarder for their Dover office. You will manage end-to-end shipments across air, road, and sea/ocean, taking full ownership from booking through to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing import and export shipments across air, road, and sea/ocean
• Handling full freight and customs documentation where required
• Liaising with hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, ports, and overseas agents
• Providing quotations and managing shipment costsMaintaining high levels of customer service and communication
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple UK sites

Requirements

• Proven experience in multimodal freight forwarding
• Strong knowledge of UK import and export procedures

• Confident communication skills and commercial awareness
• Experience using freight management systems such as CargoWise is advantageous
