Job summary

Right Now Group is recruiting a Multimodal Export Operator in Ashford, Surrey. The role covers end-to-end Air and Sea Freight Export, including documentation and customs clearances, working with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth shipments.

The candidate will manage export processes, liaise with airlines and agents, and ensure compliance with regulations. A stable, long-term role with yearly bonus and standard office hours.

Qualifications

• Experience in multimodal export operations.
• Ability to prepare export documents and manage customs entries.
• Familiarity with CargoWise and end-to-end shipment handling.

Responsibilities

• Handle Air and Sea Freight Export shipments from start to finish.
• Prepare and manage export documentation including bills of lading, airway bills, and customs entries.
• Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents to ensure timely movement of cargo.
• Manage customs clearance processes accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure shipments comply with export regulations and client requirements.
• Maintain communication with clients to provide updates on shipment status.
• Collaborate with pricing and quotations teams as needed.
• Support the wider operations team.

Right Now Group are recruiting for a Multimodal Export Operator based in Ashford, Surrey.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established international freight forwarder, handling both Air and Sea Freight Export operations from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full export process, including documentation and customs clearances, while working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient shipment movements.

Duties & Responsibilities - Multimodal Export Operator

• Handle Air and Sea Freight Export shipments from start to finish
• Prepare and manage export documentation including bills of lading, airway bills, and customs entries
• Liaise with airlines, shipping lines, and overseas agents to ensure timely movement of cargo
• Manage customs clearance processes accurately and efficiently
• Ensure all shipments comply with export regulations and client requirements
• Maintain communication with clients to provide updates on shipment status
• Use CargoWise for job file management and shipment processing
• Collaborate with the internal pricing and quotations team when required
• Support the wider operations team where necessary
