Job summary

Logix Recruitment Limited in Basildon, Essex, is recruiting a Multi-Modal Export Operator to manage air, sea and road export shipments end-to-end. The role requires around 2 years' freight forwarding experience and offers a permanent, full-time position with a salary up to £29,000 depending on experience.

You will prepare customer quotations, handle export bookings, coordinate with carriers and overseas agents, complete customs clearance, and produce export documentation such as AWBs and Bills

Qualifications

• 2 years' freight forwarding experience.
• Experience handling air, sea and road export shipments.
• Customs clearance knowledge and practical experience.
• Experience producing customer quotations.
• Confidence preparing AWBs, B/Ls and export documentation.
• Ability to manage shipments independently from quotation through to delivery.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing air, sea and road export shipments from start to finish.

• Ensuring all files are completed accurately and invoiced promptly.
• Maintaining excellent customer relationships and delivering a high standard of service.

Multi-Modal Export Operator — Basildon, Essex. Salary: Up to 29,000 (depending on experience). Job Type: Full Time Permanent.

Our client, a well-established freight forwarding company based in Basildon, is looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Modal Export Operator to join their growing operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with around 2 years' freight forwarding experience who is confident handling export shipments across air, sea and road from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Managing air, sea and road export shipments from start to finish.
• Preparing customer quotations and following up where appropriate.
• Handling export bookings and coordinating shipments with carriers and overseas agents.
• Completing customs clearance procedures and ensuring compliance with current regulations.
• Raising transport documentation including Air Waybills (AWBs), Bills of Lading and other export documentation.

• Maintaining excellent customer relationships and delivering a high standard of service.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding software.
