Job summary

Caval Limited in the Midlands and Lincolnshire is recruiting a skilled Multi-Trader to join a busy reactive maintenance team on a long-term government contract. You will respond to call-outs, diagnose faults and carry out carpentry, plumbing, plastering and other general building works to a high standard.

Ideal candidates will have proven multi-trade experience, a strong safety mindset and the ability to work independently across regional travel. A full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend reactive maintenance call-outs across the region.

• Respond to urgent maintenance issues and work to agreed response times.
• Complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.
• Liaise professionally with clients, occupants and site representatives.
• Complete job sheets and relevant paperwork.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
• Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements.
• Carry out minor remedial and preventative works where required.

Multi-Trader - Reactive Maintenance

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Trader to join a busy maintenance team delivering reactive maintenance and repair works across the Midlands and into the Lincolnshire area.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who is confident working independently and enjoys a varied role responding to call-outs on a long-term government contract.

The Role

You will be responsible for attending reactive maintenance call-outs at various properties, diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs to a high standard.

The role will involve travelling across the Midlands and towards Lincoln, so candidates must be comfortable with regional travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend reactive maintenance call-outs across the region
• Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions

About You

We are looking for a skilled Multi-Trader / Maintenance Operative with a strong background in reactive maintenance.

You should have:

• Proven experience in a multi-trade maintenance role
• Good general building and repair skills
• Experience working on reactive maintenance or call-out contracts
• Ability to diagnose problems and work independently
• Good customer-facing and communication skills
• Strong Health & Safety awareness
• Full UK driving licence
• Flexibility to travel across the Midlands and towards Lincoln
• A professional approach and good attention to detail
