Job summary

Catering is recruiting a Multi-Trade Operative to carry out repairs and maintenance within occupied housing association properties across the Surrey area.

What’s Included: Company van and fuel card. This temporary role involves completing up to 7 jobs per day across carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating with a focus on minimal tenant disruption.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out multi-trade repairs in social housing.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues across carpentry, plumbing and finishes.
• Knowledge of damp and mould repair practices is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of multi-trade works, including carpentry, plumbing, basic plastering, tiling, and decorating.
• Undertake reactive repairs and general maintenance within social housing properties
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues across multiple trades
• Complete works relating to damp, mould, and general property repairs
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard with minimal disruption to tenants
• Work independently to manage a daily workload (up to 7 jobs per day)
