Job summary

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited is seeking a Multi Trader to join a housing association project in the Luton/Watford area. The role focuses on voids and general property maintenance with a salary of £37,000–£38,000 per year plus overtime.

Key tasks include plumbing repairs, carpentry, brickwork, plaster patching and decoration, with duties spanning day-to-day maintenance inside occupied or empty properties. A van, fuel card and PDA are provided as part of the package.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in property maintenance and multi-trade tasks.
• Ability to perform trades across plumbing, carpentry and plaster repairs.
• Practical skills to maintain and repair building fabric in housing environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day property maintenance tasks in our housing projects.
• Address leaks, unblock WCs/sinks and carry out carpentry repairs.
• Carry out brickwork repairs, plaster patches and decoration as required.

We supply candidates from executive to operative level, and are currently working with a Housing Association who are looking for Multi Traders based in the Home Counties.

Day to Day:

• Property maintenance

Skills required:

• Plumbing - stopping leaks - unblocking WCs/sinks/etc.
• Carpentry - changing locks / repairs to frames/ overhauling doors.
• Some brickwork repairs.
• Patch repairs to plaster.
• Decoration
