Job summary

Howells Solutions Limited is recruiting for a Multi Trader in Sittingbourne to maintain and improve social housing properties. You will carry out routine maintenance, complete multiple jobs per day and ensure high standards of workmanship and customer service for residents.

The role offers a long-term, permanent position with a basic salary 38,000–40,500 plus a company van and fuel card, pension contributions and progression opportunities to supervisor/management roles.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader in social housing or similar.
• Trade qualifications in plumbing, carpentry, or related field; CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness cert.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Experience using a PDA and scheduling software.
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check with no unspent convictions.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine property maintenance and repairs.

We are working with a leading Repairs and Maintenance Contractor within the Social Housing sector to recruit a Multi trader to join their team in Sittingbourne.

As an operative within the Social Housing sector, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance and improvement of properties, ensuring all work is completed to a high-quality and in compliance with H&S and relevant regulations. Your role will focus on carrying out routine property maintenance, completing multiple jobs per day, ensuring a best in class standard of customer service is provided to the residents and their homes in which you're working.

Qualifications/Experience Required

• Proven experience as a Multi Trader in social housing or similar environment. Knowledge of NHF Sors desirable
• Relevant trade qualifications in plumbing, carpentry, or another related field, CSCS card and Asbestos Awareness cert
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Experience using a PDA, good IT skills with experience using job scheduling software
• Willingness to undertake a DBS check - with no unspent criminal convictions
• Full, UK, manual driving license
