Job summary

Sanctuary Group in Milton Keynes is seeking a Multi-Trade Operative to join the Operations Response team. You will perform reactive repairs across occupied properties, covering everything from taps to doors and external works, with a company van and tools provided.

You will work on a rota including emergencies, use your skills in carpentry, plumbing or plastering, and ensure communication with customers while keeping safety at the forefront.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in carpentry or electrical or working towards it.
• Full UK driving licence is required for company van driving.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Attend occupied properties to carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance in social housing.
• Resolve problems or set in motion the means of resolution and inform customers.
• Maintain van stock levels and restock as needed.
• Provide accurate progress updates on works in a clear, understandable way.
• Provide out of hours cover via a call-out rota.
