Job summary
Sanctuary Group in Ely, Cambridgeshire, is seeking a Multi-Trade Operative to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across our properties. The role involves plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating, brickwork, tiling, and general building maintenance, with a mix of lone and team working.
You'll need NVQ Level 2 in a core trade (carpentry or electrical), Plumbing Level 3, Unvented G3 and WRAS qualifications, hold a UK driving licence, and demonstrate customer-focused
Qualifications
- Candidates must hold NVQ Level 2 in a core trade (carpentry or electrical) and Plumbing Level 3, WRAS and Unvented - G3 certificates.
- Experience across a range of trades including plumbing, carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating, brickwork, tiling, and general maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Carry out construction, fault fixing and maintenance duties in line with contract specifications.
- Installation of new kitchens, bathrooms, wet rooms, windows, doors and fencing.
- Ensure tools and equipment are maintained in good condition and restocked as needed.
- Respond to complaints and breakdowns by resolving or initiating resolution, and keep customers informed.
- Provide accurate and timely information on progress of works in a way easily understood by customers.
