18 Recruitment Limited in Hastings is seeking a permanent Multi-Trade Operative to join a well-established maintenance team covering a social housing portfolio. You will carry out responsive repairs, planned maintenance and refurbishment works in both occupied and void properties.

The role offers a salary up to £40,000 per year, a company van and fuel card, pension and paid leave, with immediate start and long-term career progression.

Qualificações

• Multi-trade maintenance experience across carpentry, plumbing and plastering.
• Experience in tenanted social housing properties.
• Full UK Driving Licence and DBS check.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out day-to-day responsive repairs and maintenance.

Essential Requirements

• Strong multi-trade experience across a variety of maintenance disciplines
• Competent in:
  • Carpentry
  • Plumbing
  • Patch plastering
  • General building repairs
• Experience working within tenanted properties
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using handheld PDA technology
• NVQ or City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum) in a relevant trade
• Full UK Driving Licence
• DBS check (or willingness to undertake one)
• Right to work in the UK
