Job summary

Novus Property Solutions Ltd is seeking a Multi Trade Joiner for site-based roles covering Workington and surrounding areas. You’ll perform joinery, repairs and maintenance in social housing tenancies, following safety policies and delivering high-quality workmanship.

The role includes a standard 39-hour week, potential out-of-hours on call, a company van and fuel card, and benefits like pension and holidays. Experience in social housing is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Multi Trade environment with joinery as a core skill.
• Social Housing experience is essential for working in tenanted properties.
• Must hold a Full UK driving license and be able to pass a DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Carry out replacement and occasional repairs of upvc doors, windows, kitchens and bathrooms.
• Perform general maintenance and painting/decorating as required.
• Work from job tickets on a live shared system and manage daily workload.
• Support planned works and responsive repairs within social housing contracts.

Location:Site based, covering Workington, Whitehaven, Egremont, Maryport, Wigton and surrounding areas

Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Joiner to join Novus Property Solutions, Planned works and Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

• Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Multi Trade background, joinery experience essential.The works include the replacement and occasional repairs of various upvc doors, windows, kitchen, bathrooms and general maintenance to ensure functionality.
• Basic Plumbing, replacement of sanitaryware, toilets, baths, shower trays, basins, taps with occasional repairs
• Painting and decorating as and when required
• Social Housing experience is essential as you will be working in tenanted properties
  
• Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.
• Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively
• Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes
• Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards
• Full UK driving license is required.
• The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
