Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Multi Trade Joiner to carry out repairs and installations in social housing tenanted properties. You will work across joinery, plumbing and related trades, often within occupied homes, ensuring safety and quality.

Experience in social housing refurbishment is essential, with NVQ Level 2 or equivalent and driving license. The role involves working from tickets, following health and safety standards, and may include occasional out-of-hours work.

Qualifications

• Experience in multi-trades carpentry and plumbing within social housing refurbishment.
• Social housing experience essential; working in tenanted properties.
• NVQ Level 2 Trade Qualification (Carpentry, Plumbing or equivalent).
• PASMA, IPAF and abrasive wheels qualifications advantageous.
• Full UK driving license required; DBS check will be completed.

• Repair and maintenance of carpentry and plumbing works in social housing properties.

• Manage day-to-day workload and deliver high-quality service in residents' homes.

Job description

Location: Site based, covering Bridgwater and approximately 60 minute radius.

Standard Hours Monday- Friday 39 hours plus out of hours on call.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Multi Trade Joiner to join Novus Property Solutions, Responsive Repairs division, providing high-quality repairs and replacement services within Social Housing tenanted properties

An outline of your responsibilities and experience

Applications are welcome from experienced candidates that have a Multi Trade Joinery background, joinery experience essential. The works include the repairs of various upvc doors, windows, kitchens repairs and installations and general maintenance to ensure functionality.

Social Housing experience is essential as you will be working in tenanted properties on general repairs maintenance.

Basic Plumbing, tiling & patch plastering, floor laying, mould and damp treatment is desirable.

Working from job tickets or a handheld device on a daily basis linked to a live shared system.

Trusted to manage your own day and workload effectively

Always delivering an outstanding service to customers with the understanding that you are working in their homes

Following Novus’ exemplary Health and Safety policies and standards

NVQ Level 2 Trade Qualification (Carpentry, Plumbing or equivalent)

Candidates will also require Working at Height, Asbestos Awareness and Manual Handling training. Where these certifications have expired, refresher training can be provided by Novus.

Experience in multi trades such a carpentry, plumbing within social housing refurbishment environment.

PASMA, IPAF, Abrasive Wheels knowledge qualifications and are advantageous

Full UK driving license is required.

The role will also require a DBS check to be completed
