Job summary

Novus Property Solutions is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our site maintenance team. You will perform general maintenance and assist trades across tenanted properties, including basic joinery, plumbing, plastering and painting tasks.

The role covers onsite work with a mix of indoor and external duties, maintaining safety standards and contributing to a high-quality service for residents. Full-time hours, social housing contract, with training provided.

Qualifications

• General maintenance on social housing sites and tenanted properties.
• Basic trades skills across joinery, plumbing and plastering.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors at height.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance around site and support trades.
• Carry out basic joinery repairs or replacements (doors, windows, kitchens, bathrooms).
• Carry out basic plumbing repairs (taps, basins, baths).
• Assist with patch plastering and decorating when required.
• Keep site clean and follow health and safety procedures.

Location: Onsite covering Warminster and approx 60-90 minute radius - typically working Monday to Friday 39 hours

As a Skilled Labourer for Novus Property Solutions, you’ll work with a great team, who support each other and work together to deliver a great service for our customers. Possessing a background as a handyperson/skilled labourer with basic trade skills on Site, familiar with working internally and externally, at height and ideally working within Social Housing tenanted properties, although further training, including in Health and Safety will be given.

Responsibilities and Experience

• General maintenance around site(tenanted properties), supporting all trades across various internal responsive repair works
• Basic joinery including, repairs or replacements of doors, windows, kitchens and bathrooms
• Basic plumbing including repairing or replacing taps, basins, baths, shower trays/heads, sanitary ware
• Basic patch plastering experience
• Painting and Decorating experience desirable not essential
• Ensure all site is kept clean and in order, including removing refuge from site
• Using a PDA and working from job tickets
• Follow and enforce company health and safety procedures
