Job summary

A construction company is seeking Multi Trade Operative / IPAF operators for ongoing work around Manchester. Responsibilities include safely removing and replacing bricks or plasterboard in buildings for fire safety assessments. Candidates must possess an IPAF ticket, experience with brickwork and dry-lining, a full UK Driving License, and a vehicle. This is a long-term position with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

Job description

Straight-Line Civils are currently hiring Multi Trade Operative / IPAF operators around Manchester.

This project is removing and replacing bricks or plaster board in buildings (offices, flats, university accommodation, etc) in order for a fire safety engineer to check everything is safe behind whatever you have removed.

You will be working with a labourer/banksman who will monitor the bottom of the IPAF. If you know an individual who would be suitable, please make it known within your application.

The ideal candidate:

• MUST have an IPAF ticket
• MUST have experience with brickwork and dry-lining
• MUST have a full UK Driving License and a van/vehicle

This will be ongoing- long term work for the right candidate.

The working hours are 8am-5pm.
