Job summary

Bromford Housing Group is seeking a permanent Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Empty Homes team in Coventry and surrounding areas, carrying out repairs and refurbishment to bring properties up to a high standard before new customers move in.

You’ll work Monday to Friday with a fully equipped company van and overtime available. Your earnings are reliable, with pension contributions and wellbeing support, making a real difference in homes and communities across the region.

Qualifications

• Experience across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing and plastering essential).
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• Ability to work independently with high workmanship standards.
• Experience in refurbishing empty homes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and refurbishment work to bring properties back up to a high standard.
• Manage your own workload across your local area with team support.
• Work Monday–Friday with a fully equipped company van and tools.
• Contribute to getting homes ready for new customers.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll work within our Empty Homes team, carrying out repairs and refurbishment work to bring properties back up to a high standard before new customers move in.

Typical work includes:

• Plumbing
• Plastering
• Finishing works

You’ll manage your own workload across your local area while being supported by an experienced team.

What we’re looking for

We’re interested in good tradespeople who take pride in their work.

You’ll need:

• Experience across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing and plastering essential)
• High standards of workmanship
• Full UK Driving Licence
• The ability to work independently
• Basic DBS required (we'll arrange this).
