Job summary

Professional Construction Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Handyman / Multi Trade for residential projects in the Twickenham area. This temp-to-perm role involves working across two new-build projects with daily tasks ranging from screeding floors to fixing taps and painting walls.

Applicants must have prior Handyman / Multi Trade experience on similar residential builds and be able to provide their own tools and transport. CSCS card is required, and a safe, efficient work approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Handyman / Multi Trade on new build residential projects.
• Own tools and vehicle required.
• CSCS card required.
• Ability to prioritise and work in a clean, safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Paint, fill, sand and touch up surfaces.
• Basic plumbing repairs (taps, toilets, leaks) and fittings.
• Basic electrical tasks (light fittings, switches, sockets).
• Door repairs and adjustments (handles, locks, hinges).
• Mastic / silicone sealing and general repairs.
• Carpentry / joinery tasks (minor).
• Patch plastering and surface prep.
• General making-good duties.

Handyman / Multi Trade

Handyman / Multi Trade required for residential projects in the Twickenham area.

This is a temp to perm position

Looking for applicants who have previously worked as a Handyman / Multi Trade on new build residential projects. Workload will be split between two residential projects and duties will vary from day to day. One day you could be screeding a floor and the next fixing a tap or painting a wall.

The successful candidate will need to provide their own tools, their own vehicle and will have worked on similar type projects in the past. Being able to prioritise jobs and work in a clean and safe manner is a must.

CSCS card required

Duties could include, but not limited to:

• Painting, filling, sanding and touching up
• Basic plumbing repairs, taps, toilets, leaks and fittings
• Basic electrical tasks such as light fittings, switches, sockets etc
• Door repairs, adjusting, handles, locks hinges etc
• Mastic / Silicone, sealant and general repairs
• Complete minor carpentry /joinery work
• Patch plastering, surface prep and remedial works
• General making good duties
