Job summary

RG Setsquare is hiring a Multi Skilled Maintenance Operative to work on day-to-day responsive repairs for a Housing Association across Yeovil, Bristol and Weston-super-Mare areas. The role requires an all-round trades capable professional who can adapt to carpentry, plumbing and related tasks.

You will need your own tools, a full UK driving licence and be prepared to undertake asbestos awareness and DBS checks if required.

Qualifications

• Experience in one or more trades (carpentry or plumbing) and ability to perform basic repairs.
• Own tools and full UK driving license required.
• Asbestos awareness training or willing to obtain.
• DBS check can be arranged for successful candidate.
• Temporary 6 months, ASAP start.

Responsibilities

• Carry out responsive repairs in occupied and empty properties.
• Perform basic carpentry, plumbing, tiling and patch repairs as needed.
• Work Monday to Friday 8:00-16:30 and coordinate with the maintenance contractor.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Operative - An all rounder

Resourcing Group is working with a Maintenance Contractor who have a contract, directly managing the day to day responsive repairs on behalf of their end client, a Housing Association with housing stock based in and around Yeovil, Bristol and Weston Super Mare areas. They carry out their own repairs and maintenance, operating in occupied and empty properties.

The business would like to hire 1 additional experienced Multi Trade person with a either a C&G or NVQ trade qualification. The ideal person will have demonstrable experience with in either Carpentry or Plumbing, with the ability to turn their hand to other trades also eg basic tiling, patch repair, general maintenance, basic plumbing/carpentry, depending on your core trade plus general repair works.

These role is being offered on a temporary basis, for a period of 6 months initially and is available to start ASAP.

The working week is Monday to Friday 8am to 430pm.

Essential:
