Job summary

Build Recruitment is representing a busy client recruiting a Carpenter Multi Trade for social housing maintenance across Cornwall (Truro to Penzance). The role focuses on carpentry but requires competency in other trades as well.

The position offers circa £40,000 per year, a company van with a fuel card, and a 12-week temp-to-perm path, plus 25 days holiday and a competitive pension. DBS will be completed prior to starting.

Qualifications

• Multi-trade maintenance experience in property services.
• Carpentry qualification desirable or substantial experience.
• DBS check required prior to start.
• Good attitude, honest and reliable.
• Willingness to work in a social housing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance work in properties, primarily carpentry but able to perform other trades to a good level.
• Interact with customers in a polite and professional manner.
• Drive and operate a company van safely and responsibly.
• Follow project specifications to complete works to standard.
• Report progress and issues to your Supervisor.
