Job summary

Resourcing Group is recruiting for a Multi Skilled Carpenter – Maintenance to support a Housing Association in Exeter. The role is based in and around Exeter, with a company van, fuel card and travel expenses offered; temporary with a view to permanent employment.

The ideal candidate will have carpentry/joinery experience, a C&G or NVQ trade qualification, and be able to cover basic tiling, patch repair, and general maintenance.

Qualifications

• Carpentry and joinery background with willingness to work alongside other trades.
• C&G or NVQ trade qualification is required.
• Experience in basic tiling, patch repair and general maintenance is desirable.
• Full UK driving license is preferred and asbestos awareness may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out carpentry and general maintenance tasks in occupied and empty properties around Exeter.
• Assist with other trades such as tiling, basic plumbing and patch repair as required.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 16:30, with travel as needed.
• Maintain van, fuel card usage, and expenses per company policy.

Multi Skilled Carpenter – Maintenance

Carpenter/Multi Skilled TEMP TO PERM Van supplied

Resourcing Group is working with a Housing Association based in Exeter. They carry out their own repairs and maintenance, operating in occupied and empty properties. This role is specifically based in and around Exeter, although the HA has a national presence.

The business would like to hire 1 additional experienced Multi Trade person with a carpentry and/or joinery background and either a C&G or NVQ trade qualification. The ideal person will have demonstrable experience with in either the Carpentry, with the ability to turn their hand to other trades also eg basic tiling, patch repair, general maintenance, basic plumbing eg fixing a leak.

These role is being offered on a temporary to permanent basis, offering genuine security as well as a company van, fuel card and fair benefits including travel expenses and more.

The working week is Monday to Friday 8am to 430pm.
