Job summary

Lancer Scott Ltd in Bristol is seeking a multi skilled Tiler to work on the UWE contract, carrying out planned and reactive tiling maintenance across internal and external buildings. You will join the LS FM Team delivering high standards within set timescales and safety guidelines.

You should have at least 3 years’ tiling experience, a full UK driving licence, and IT skills for PDA devices. The role offers on-site work with opportunities for career development within a growing construction and

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years’ tiling experience with a broad range of products and materials.
• Current Full UK Driving Licence.
• IT skills – use of PDAs.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of the LS FM Team with responsibility for all tiling related work orders for both internal and external buildings to include some landscaping.
• Support the team on reactive and remedial repairs as directed by the LS FM Helpdesk on plumbing installations such as removing sinks and toilets and fixing minor defects to heating and ventilation systems.
• Use your initiative to solve problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
• Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring that you comply with current regulations and contract specifications.
• Reporting and recording procedures, including operation and maintenance logs and control measures to minimise risks.
• Liaise closely with our control hub to ensure efficient response to all works either working on your own or as part of a team.
• Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.

What will my core responsibilities be?

What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role?

• Hold a minimum of 3+ years’ experience in tiling and the use of a broad range of different products and materials
